August 2007 School Supplies
This August we shipped 25 cases of school supplies to the White River and Rosebud communities including 5 cases to Rosebud Elementary School and 2 cases to the children of a Lakota elder in Texas. We received a nice thank-you letter from Linda Bordeaux, the principal of Rosebud Elementary.

December 2007 Clothes and Food Drive and Delivery
This year with the price of gasoline being so high we concentrated assistance to our Lakota friends on food. In doing this we were able to help feed more people. We filled 14' x 8' x 8' trailer to the brim with food only. We also funded 7 families in the White River community with a trip to the grocery store as well as assisting several families with propane needed for heating their homes.

In addition we received a donation of more than 300 new coats and blankets from friends who drove in from Oklahoma to make their delivery. We are very fortunate to have such giving people who most of us had not met until they arrived on the 27th. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We were later hosted by the Whitehorse family where stories were told, food was ate and laughter and full bellies were had by all. The return journey was uneventful, yet full of gratitude to what we are allowed to be part of.
